I have coached fastpitch softball for 6 years, and am beginning my 4th
in travel softball. My coaching experience began at Vestavia, coaching
the rec ball all-star teams in 2005 and 2006 to the State tournament.
I began the Phantoms softball organization in the Spring of 2007, my
first coaching experience in travel ball. The 12u team, which was the
only team under the Phantoms banner, played through the fall of 2008,
when the team was acquired by the Alabama Twisters. The Twisters (Rary)
14u team improved season to season, and finished 10th out of 77 teams
in the 2009 USFA "B" World Series in Panama City Beach, FL.
My tenure at the Twisters ended in December of 2009. I now coach with
Jerry Pyle on the Cruisers 16u, an "A" team created to carry
the torch for the Cruisers organization, and gain exposure at the collegiate
level for the team's members and the organization as a whole. This team
will attend the USFA "A" World Series in Panama City Beach,
FL this year.
Additionally, I am the Head Coach for the Cruisers 98 (Blue). My passion is building teams, and I graciously accept the challenge to build another team to elite status. This first year 12u team will travel to the USFA "B" World Series this year, and great things are expected for this team.
I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Sport and Fitness Management from Troy University. I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in Baseball/Softball, and a Certified Personal Trainer. I am also an ACE Level 3 Certified Fastpitch Coach/Instructor.
I provide a full slate of fastpitch instruction at Sports Center 280, not limited to hitting, pitching, fielding, and catching, as well as Strength and Speed Training for baseball/softball players

A native of Northern California, Emilee has been involved in softball
in the Birmingham area for the last four years. She has been a volunteer
coach for a few 10 and under Oak Mountain Parks and Recreation teams,
instructed in clinics for Vestavia Hills Park and Recreation, helped
coach a 16 and under travel ball team, helped with a local high school
and done private lessons for all age groups.
Emilee played softball on various travel organizations but made her way to Birmingham through an organization out of Virginia Beach, Virginia called the “Virginia Legends.” The Legends allowed her to be recruited and to sign with Samford University. There Emilee was able to be a varsity letter winner for all four years as a member of their pitching staff. She played in various roles as both a starter and closer for the Bulldogs. In the spring of 2006 Emilee earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biology and is currently pursuing a job in teaching and coaching at the high school level.
Emilee specializes in pitching instruction but also does some hitting, fielding, catching, and mental training. She has worked with girls from the age of 8 through 18 years of age. She emphasizes a core understanding of the mechanics and perfecting all of the technique. Emilee also teaches the importance of the mental sides of the game. She is a firm believer in being a student of the game and understanding it from all angles and aspects. In addition, her goals are to provide young girls with the tools to help them achieve their dreams and aspirations in order for them to be successful on the field, in the classroom, and in their lives.

Coach Patrick Murphy of the University of Alabama Softball team has
referred to David Elliott as the Assistant Pitching coach to the stars.
This is a reference to David’s relationship to Ernie Parker.
David is an Ernie Parker Certified Instructor. He is also an Ernie Parker certified Clinician. David has done pitching and hitting clinics with Coach Parker all over North America including such places as Sitka, Alaska, Honolulu, Hawaii, Toronto, Canada, The University of Notre Dame and the University of Alabama. David has also done clinics with Lisa Fernandez and Amanda Freed Collegiate All- Americans, National Champions and Team USA Gold medal winners.
David has coached and helped develop many girls that are now playing at the collegiate level. His teams have won National Championships and finished second at the national level several time. Some of these accomplishments include the USFA World Series Championship, Runner up at the NSA “A” nationals (twice) and an ISA National Championship.
David has also worked on staff at a Division 1 school where he was the pitching coach. He has served as a pitching and hitting consultant to several other schools. And is also a reference for college coaches looking for information on potential recruits. In addition to these activities he has also worked directly with the pitching staffs at the high school level where he help bring home several state championships.
Two of David’s current students are tied with two other girls for the AHSAA single game strike out record.
David works well with the beginner as well as the advanced pitcher. He’s been doing private pitching and hitting lessons as well as clinics for over twelve years. The Ernie Parker influence is evident when it comes to David’s teaching techniques as well as his demeanor with the girls. He relates well to them and presents a positive atmosphere for instruction.
